British Royal Family News says that a lot of people are actually criticizing Kate Middleton for her new project, Shaping Us, as they believe that it will yield very little results and that it won’t make much of an impact for British children and their lives. According to new reports, Kate Middleton gave a speech at Bafta in London ahead of the launch of her Shaping Us campaign. Along with her team, the Princess of Wales is hoping that her new project will increase public awareness of the importance of the first five years of a child’s life. She said in her speech: “The campaign is fundamentally about shining a spotlight on the critical importance of early childhood and how it shapes the adults we become. During this time we lay the foundations and building blocks for life. And it is when we learn to understand ourselves, understand others and understand the world in which we live.”

The princess continues, “This is why it is essential to not only understand the unique importance of our earliest years, but to know what we can all do to help raise future generations of happy, healthy adults.”

Yet, many critics commented on the matter with, “She needs to pick something that needs fixing and fix it. Inadequate nutrition for kids 0-5? Start feeding programs in the most at risk areas. One at a time. Be there serving meals. Report once a month. See? Easy, doable and with visible results,” along with, “What adult isn’t already fully aware of the importance of early education? Seriously what’s the GOAL after 5 years? It seems like 5 years of a SOFT LAUNCH of same idea every year. Meanwhile actual educators have done and are implementing all of this all over the world.”
