British Royal Family News: says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle believe that Jeremy Clarkson’s apology might be a little too late and certainly not enough. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex went on the record to slam the British television personality for his public apology after he had written an offensive column about Meghan. Harry and Meghan shared a statement with People magazine that said, “While a new public apology has been issued today by Mr. Clarkson, what remains to be addressed is his long standing pattern of writing articles that spread hate rhetoric, dangerous conspiracy theories, and misogyny. Unless each of his other pieces were also written in a hurry, as he states, it is clear that this is not an isolated incident shared in haste, but rather a series of articles shared in hate.”

Earlier in the day, and in a lengthy statement that he wrote on his Instagram account, Clarkson admits that his words were “disgraceful” and that he was “profoundly sorry.”

He said, “One of the strange things I’ve noticed in recent times is that whenever an MP or a well-known person is asked to apologise for something, no matter how heartfelt or profound that apology may be, it’s never enough for the people who called for it in the first place. So I’m going to try and buck the trend this morning with an apology for the things I said in a Sun column recently about Meghan Markle. I really am sorry. All the way from the balls of my feet to the follicles on my head. This is me putting my hands up. It’s a mea culpa with bells on.”

While there’s no doubt that the Duchess of Sussex has become a very controversial figure mostly in part because of the Netflix series Harry and Meghan, it seems like Jeremy might have taken things a little too last month. He wrote at the time, “We all know in our heart of hearts that Harold Markle is a slightly dim but fun-loving chin who flew Apache helicopter gunships in Afghanistan and cavorted around Las Vegas hotel rooms with naked hookers. But then along came Meghan, who obviously used some vivid bedroom promises to turn him into a warrior of woke.”

He then goes on to say, “At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her. Everyone who’s my age thinks the same way.”
