Say what you will about Camilla Parker Bowles, but there’s no denying that she’s the queen when it comes to keeping her cool. The Queen Consort of England managed to ignore all of Prince Harry’s drama and spoke out instead about the precious time she’s recently spent with her husband, King Charles. Here’s what she has to say.

According to new reports, Camilla was in great spirits when she visited the University of Aberdeen and talked about the precious time she spent with her husband in Scotland. Camilla put it this way, “Coming to this university, and to this city, has always felt a bit like coming home to me. My husband and I are lucky enough to spend precious time each year in Aberdeenshire.”

According to the Daily Beast, personal friends of Camilla are defending her after all of the awful things that were said about the Queen Consort in Prince Harry’s book, Spare. One person said, “All Camilla ever did was have the bad luck to fall in love with a prince. Literally the last thing she could care about is being queen. It’s absurd, and anyone who knows her knows it is absurd.”

The tipster also added that Camilla was never a royal social climber as some others would suggest. As far as Camilla wanting to be Queen of England, the issue was “at the bottom” of Camilla’s priority list, saying, “All she ever wanted was to support the man she loved.”

In Spare, the Duke of Sussex accuses Queen Camilla of leaking a conversation with Prince William. “Shortly after our private summits with her, she began to play the long game. A campaign aimed at marriage, and eventually the Crown, with Pa’s blessing we presumed,” Harry wrote.

When asked about this excerpt, Harry told Tom Bradby during their sit down interview with ITV: “Stories began to appear everywhere in all the papers about her private conversation with Willie, stories that contained pinpoint accurate details, none of which had come from Willie, of course. They could only have been leaked by the other one other person present.”
