Prince Harry’s security row with Home Office just took a turn with the recent revelation of Queen Elizabeth‘s true wishes for his security.
Across multiple interviews, Harry made it seem as if his family colluded with home office to remove his 24/7 taxpayer funded security.
Turns out it’s not so black and white as he described, and his late grandmother actually tried to get him the security he needed.

It’s been revealed that the Queen took personal interest in Harry’s security arrangements.
When Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals in 2020, it came at a cost, and they lost their IPP status. This means that they will have to pay for their own security in whatever country they find themselves in.
Reading his statement in the latest court proceeding, Harry’s team argued that the Duke was forced to leave the UK with his wife and family following the security downgrade.
Now, we’re learning that the late Queen wrote a letter to her most senior aide and the then Cabinet Secretary to implore that “effective security” is provided to Harry and his family.
Sir Edward Young then wrote to Sir Mark Sedwill, explaining that keeping the Sussexes safe was “of paramount importance to Her Majesty and her family.”
This New Revelation Makes One Wonder The Reason Harry Made Certain Suggestions In His Memoir.
In the book, he describes feeling desperate about the whole security situation, writing that he told them: “Look. Please. Meg and I don’t care about perks, we care about working, serving – and staying alive.”
Prince Harry also recalled feeling “total abandonment” at the time.
In a statement read by Harry’s team in court on 7 Dec., the Duke said, “It was with great sadness to both of us that my wife and I felt forced to step back from this role and leave the country in 2020. The UK is my home.
The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the United States.”
He went on to say that his children cannot visit unless he feels they’ll be safe in the country. “I can’t put my wife in danger like that, and given my experiences in life I’m reluctant to unnecessarily put myself in harm’s way too.”
The new statement that he was forced to leave differs from the one he and his wife made in 2020 about willingly making the decision to step back.
