Princess Kate Brokered Peace Between King Charles And Prince William

In “Spare,” Prince Harry described Prince William as someone who shared in his hatred of Camilla becoming their stepmother.

In fact, it’s been reported so many times that William told Camilla that she is not his children’s grandstepmom.

So there’s clearly a bridge between father and son, and whether it’s all because of the King’s choice of second wife or something else, it’s created a kind of rift between the monarch and his heir. A close source recently divulged that Kate is closer to Charles than husband Prince William.

Kate Middleton Is the Mediator Between Prince William and King Charles’ “Fractious Relationship”

When it comes to protecting the legacy of the Royal Family, you’ll reportedly find no better warrior than the Princess of Wales, who does her best to make sure that all parties uniformly contribute to the cause.

She also doesn’t want anybody’s toes being crapped on; her husband’s or the monarch’s.

Kate Middleton joined King Charles and Queen Camilla in hosting the diplomatic corps Buckingham Palace’s annual reception on Dec. 5.

There, she glowed in the Lover’s knot tiara, known to be Princess Diana’s favorites, and seemed quite at home in the midst of 500 dignitaries.

“She hugely enjoyed that evening and looked really at home,” a royal source shared with People. “She knows the important role the family plays in building relationships globally on behalf of the UK. It is clear that she and the king are quite close — in some respects closer to him than William.”

The source claimed that William’s “fractious relationship” with his father has somewhat improved in recent times due to the 41-year-old Princess acting as a mediator.

“It’s only been recently that William has been closer [to Charles],” the source revealed. “Kate has acted as the honest broker in that.”

One of the things that makes Kate Middleton a true gem for the Royal Family is her determination to her duties. “She is actually strong-minded, strong-willed and prepared to fight for what she wants and what she thinks is right,” Royal Author Valentine Low said.

Another Royal Author claimed that Kate provides the family with a “directional setting.” “They are pursuing the initiatives that are important to them. They are not pushing to supplant the king and Camilla — they are an incredible enhancement,” biographer Sally Bedell Smith said.
