Harry may have celebrated his 39th birthday this weekend by going out to dinner with Meghan Markle, but it’s understood that Prince William didn’t reach out to wish him a happy birthday.
According to a royal source, William is still hurting from what he feels was a betrayal from Harry and just wants to blank his younger brother from his mind.
At the moment, though Harry’s criticism of his family is yet to entirely seize, it is understood that he and his wife are rebranding and will be moving away from sharing their royal grievances with the world.
Prince William Probably Blanks Harry From His Mind, Expert Claims
According to royal expert, Jennie Bond, William is not ready to heal rift with Harry. As far as he is concerned, Harry is grown up and married with family and they’re both capable of raising their children without the help or opinions of the other.
“There is no way back for the brothers. I just can’t see it. William is hurt so deeply that I think he probably just blanks Harry out of his mind most of the time. He has moved on with his life, and I guess so has Harry,” Jennie told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine.
However, the former BBC correspondent said it would be “very odd” if King Charles didn’t reach out to his younger son on his birthday, even if it is privately.
She went on to add, “If there isn’t (a public acknowledgement from Charles), well, then I think that’s really going to speak volumes about the depths of their rift.”
While Harry was at Dusseldorf promoting and taking part in the Invictus Games, which he founded in 2014, Charles visited Kinross in Perthshire to hear how an anti-poverty charity has been making a difference in people’s lives.
He also popped in at St Paul’s Church to meet Annie McCormack, the founder of Broke Not Broken.
