Prince William Is Not In A Rush To Move To The Royal Lodge

Even though the extra space would be nice to have right now, it seems like Prince William and his family can wait. There’s a new report that suggests the Prince of Wales is in no rush to move into The Royal Lodge with his wife Kate Middleton and their three children. And that might be a good thing seeing how his uncle Prince Andrew is refusing to move out. Here’s what you need to know.

Prince William Is Not In A Rush To Move To The Royal Lodge

According to the latest reports, the Duke of York is doing everything that he can to stay in the home that he’s had for the last several decades, The Royal Lodge. Apparently, he doesn’t want to downgrade himself and move to Frogmore Cottage now that it’s been opened up by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s eviction from their home, too. And while William is willing to wait, this might work out for Andrew in the short run, but not in the long run as sooner or later he’s going to have to move out from the home.

The Daily Mail says that for now, William and Kate are happy with the home they have but would like to upgrade for the sake of their three growing children. But at the same time, they know just how much work it is to move from one house to another. One source put it this way, “at four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage, also in Windsor Great Park, to which they moved in August last year, and they are understood to not be agitating to take on Royal Lodge. They have literally only just moved to Adelaide, so I doubt they are keen to do it all again.”

But seeing how Prince William is the future King of England, we have a feeling that when his family is ready to move on to The Royal Lodge, Andrew will have no choice but to pack his bags and leave. Andrew won’t want to be on his nephew’s bad side, after all. Watch this space.
