Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Looking To Have A “Hollywood Comeback” Moment

At this moment, there’s been a lot of talks about whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can survive the harsh reality of Hollywood.

So far, any of their projects that don’t have any royal undertones have been completely ignored by the general public, and there’s only so much they can do with trading Royal family stories for cash.

Sooner or later, the stories will run dry, or the public will simply not care anymore.

However, it’s possible that Meghan could return to acting, as rumors say her most successful show “Suits” is considering doing a reboot.

The 42-year-old stepping back into the role of Rachel Zane would be something that fans would definitely want to see. Plus, she just signed to WME for representation, so her Hollywood story may just be unfolding.

Expert Says Meghan Markle Wasn’t Given the Proper Help To Survive the Podcasting Space

It seems Harry and Meghan aren’t only making royal enemies, but Hollywood ones as well.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Spotify would not be renewing Meghan’s podcast series, “Archetypes,” despite the fact that it cost Spotify $20 million.

At the time, it was revealed that it was a mutual agreement “to part ways.” But further development showed that there might have been some bad blood between the couple and the audio streaming giant, with executive Bill Simmons publicly criticizing the couple shortly after.

“The royal element and, in some ways, the drama around them inflated the price, deals and expectations,” a top Hollywood insider said of their lucrative signings with both Spotify and Netflix, which they snagged shortly after their move to Hollywood.

“Very few other production companies are measured by what’s actually hit the airwaves,” a source close to the couple said in their defense following accusations that they couldn’t deliver on their deal.

Meghan Struggled To Make The Series Because She Had No Proper Help.

Another source close to the Archewell Productions revealed that Meghan struggled to make the series because she had no proper help. “They were given no formal lay of the land to kick things off, so they were already on unsteady footing even before the ink was dry,” the source said.

Even though Meghan’s podcast included guests like Mariah Carey, and debuted to big numbers, Spotify didn’t see enough potential in it to renew it for another season run. But don’t worry, an industry executive believes the couple is poised for a “Hollywood comeback.”
