Prince Harry And Meghan Are On A Total System Reboot As They Look To The Future

When Harry and Meghan left the Royal Family, they reportedly didn’t have a definite plan for their future.

They were simply going to roll with the punches until they penetrated Hollywood and became one of its power players.

However, immediately they arrived, things started looking up for them since Hollywood execs were enthralled by Harry’s title.

A few years later, it seems that their initial shine is almost entirely worn off and they’re scrambling to reboot their brand in order to stay relevant in the coming years.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Resetting Their Brand Amid Cancelled Deals

When Spotify dropped the couple, it might have served as a wake up call for the duo, so much so that they’ve spent the last couple of months working on a new direction for their brand. At Variety’s power of women event, Meghan teased that big things are on the way.

“What we’re seeing — and will see more of I think — is Heghan 2.0. Part Deux. They know of their supposed failures and how it’s viewed, but they have almost gone more tech than Hollywood. Fail big and all that,” a source told PEOPLE. “They have swapped in and out all sorts of projects and people and are embarking on a total system reboot.”

“They have a constitutional inability to look in the rearview — why should they? They are all about the future,” the source added.

While the failures are there, there have indeed been successes. Harry’s “Spare” made it into Apple’s list of most successful books in 2023, their Netflix docuseries “Harry and Meghan” became the most viewed documentary on the streaming platform, and even Meghan’s podcast “Archetypes” was not so shabby.

Despite The Highs And The Lows, Harry And Meghan Continue To Be A Tight Unit.

As long as they were out of the royal circle and doing things their own way, they believe they couldn’t go wrong.

“The attention, commotion and hubbub was wrapped up in the fact that Harry is a royal, and people threw money at them with hopes and dreams that it would translate into success,” a Hollywood insider previously told PEOPLE in an August cover story. “But I think it’s been a rude awakening for everyone — it’s like they built a house with no foundation.”
