Of course, Whitney should have been concerned when the painter asked for all of the money upfront. Whitney admits that her first mistake was going along with this request. Whitney says the jobs were never finished and she has never seen the painter again.

Whitney reveals that the man was supposed to be at her house the next morning to do the painting she had paid him for. Unfortunately, the painter never showed up and took the money, and ran. Whitney not only feels that the painter stole money from her but apparently there is a matter of stealing supplies as well.

Afterward, Whitney realized that $200 worth of painting supplies were taken when the painter disappeared. Whitney says he took her wood stain and her paint sprayer. Whitney says the paint sprayer cost $300 itself. To get to the bottom of things, Whitney called the person who recommended the painter. Whitney was then told that the materials were stolen from the painter.

Whitney was furious, even calling the painter out on Instagram and warning others against falling for his scam. Whitney warned the people of Greensboro NC if a man named Adrian wanted to paint for them, don’t let him. Whitney doesn’t want anyone else to fall for the same line that she fell for and get taken by this guy.

Whitney goes on to share other horror stories as well. Long-time fans will remember that one season Whitney thought it was a good idea to rent an RV and go on the road for a dance tour. When Whitney returned, the RV was parked outside her house and someone vandalized it but spray painting unkind remarks on the side.

There was another incident where the police showed up at her house one night because someone called in a death threat against Whitney. Whitney reveals that people have also walked into her parents’ house as well. Whitney just doesn’t believe that people should drop by someone’s house. There is a huge difference between meeting someone in public and invading their privacy.

Whitney asked fans to share their horror stories if they had any as well. One person told Whitney that they had a dog walker who stole a $7000 wedding ring and $40 cash. The family was glad that the dog walker did return the dog after all. Another person talked about having someone make a copy of their house key only to find out that this person made a copy for themselves and entered the home several times.

Whitney has found out that no matter who recommends someone, that does not mean they are going to be a good person in the end. Homeowners need to be more careful when allowing someone into their homes and their lives.
