Miley Cyrus is not the same girl that she once was when she was bumping and grinding with Robin Thicke on stage at the MTV Music Awards over a decade ago. Now that she’s a little older, she’s also a little wiser and more mature, and she wants to keep it that way, too. In fact, the chart topper recently opened up about her life, her divorce from Liam Hemsworth and how she’s not interested in performing anymore. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Speaking to British Vogue in a new interview, Miley says that she’s not the attention seeking person that she used to be. In fact, she’s quite the opposite now so much so that she doesn’t even have a desire to perform on stage anymore. Miley put it this way, “I carried some guilt and shame around myself for years because of how much controversy and upset I really caused. Now that I’m an adult, I realize how harshly I was judged. I was harshly judged as a child by adults and now, as an adult, I realize that I would never harshly judge a child.”

In her same interview, Miley also opened up about her divorce from Liam Hemsworth, which she is still trying to figure out on her end. But at the same time, Miley says she doesn’t have any regrets. She said, “I wouldn’t erase my story or want it to be erased. Having an interesting life makes for interesting storytelling.”

What’s Next For Miley Cyrus?

Now, as far as what her life looks like behind closed doors, it’s far different than what it looked like ten years ago.
