Sister Wives spoilers reveal that according to OK!, in the wake of accusations of abuse from a few of Kody Brown’s children, Meri Brown took to her Instagram Stories to share a quote about putting the past behind you and learning from it.

It comes just weeks after Christine and Kody’s son, Paedon Brown, spoke about Meri’s abusive behavior when they were children. The quote, attributed to entrepreneur Anthony Gucciardi, appeared on Meri’s social media on Friday, February 10.

“The butterfly does not look at the caterpillar in shame, just as you should not look back at your past in shame,” the quote read, “Your past was part of your own transformation.”

As TV Shows Ace reports, it’s not out of the ordinary for Meri to post cryptic messages carrying ulterior motives. In fact, many Sister Wives fans have come to expect it from the TLC personality over the years. In fact, it was through such cryptic messaging that some fans began to suspect that she and Kody Brown were splitting up.

Other than her messy split from the Brown family patriarch, Meri is also having to wade through some serious abuse allegations. Paedon Brown, the only son of Christine and Kody, publicly declared that Meri was cruel to him and his siblings when they were youngsters.

In an exclusive YouTube interview with John Yates, Paedon implied that he and many of Kody’s 18 children were terrified of Meri. Meri, for her part, quickly posted what fans say was a cryptic response to the allegation by sharing a friendly photo of herself and Janelle’s boys Hunter and Logan on Instagram.

“When in Vegas, it just makes sense to find a couple of good-looking guys to spend a few hours with!” she captioned the photo of her and her two stepsons grinning into the camera. “So good catching up with these two, and proud of the good men they’ve become!”
