Meghan Markle’s Popularity Could Soon Surpass Kate Middleton’s For This Reason

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in their rebranding phase. For one, they’ve dropped the Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles that’s been their trademark even after they exited the Royal Family, and they are now fully embracing the celebrity lifestyle.

Gone are the days of trying to maintain some royal mystique, you want them to smile for the cameras? Sure, they’ll smile for the cameras.

The approach is bound to give them an edge over the Prince and Princess of Wales. Might even snag Meghan a multi-million ambassadorship deal with a luxury brand, which is something a close source has said she craves.

Meghan Markle Rebranding To Become An Approachable American Celebrity

According to royal expert Tessa Dunlop, Meghan will be making a grand return to Instagram soon. She left the social media platform shortly after her engagement to Prince Harry was announced.

With a personal profile, Meghan can show fans into her totally “relatable” life, that is if relatable means living in a multi-million dollar mansion. Still, it’s better than living in a centuries old castle, I guess.

Speaking to OK!, Dunlop said: “With Kate’s social media presence [@princeandprincessofwales], we’re given very choreographed glimpses into her perfect, almost ‘too good to be true’ family. With Meghan, on the other hand, we know that she’s been through hell and back. She doesn’t have the insulation of the institution and a large family.”

She continued: “She’s been taking her time with her ‘relaunch’, and I think that’s vital. If this Instagram account channels everything she truly is, it’ll be a huge success. She’s American and high-end beige. She’s every woman. She doesn’t feel too out of touch, or far removed from a normal woman.”

It’s a good career move for Meghan, who dropped everything she’s accomplished so far to get married to Harry, including her lifestyle blog The Tig.

“What would we rather – that she stayed a malingerer in the royal institution whilst taking the Sovereign Grant and complaining about her mental health, or that she was out there paying her taxes and making her own way again, as she always did long before Harry was on the scene?”

Hopefully, she can still appeal to her audience now that she’s decided to drop the royal subject completely.
