There’s a new report that suggests Meghan Markle’s coronation boycott might backfire on her. As many royal fans already know, Prince Harry will be making the trip to London on his own as the Duchess of Sussex will be staying behind in California with the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet. Royal critic and expert Kinsey Schofield, who seems to have something or another to say about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on a daily basis, thinks that the Duchess of Sussex is making a grave mistake by boycotting what will most likely be a very historic day for Great Britain.

In an interview with Dan Wootton on GB News, Kinsey put it this way, “I don’t think she wanted to be booed and she was setting herself up to be destroyed by the public. Thousands of people are there to support the monarchy and Harry and Meghan have attempted to jeopardize their credibility over the last few years. There are mixed reports about whether or not she would have had to have curtsied to William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales.”

She continued, “I don’t think she would have wanted to do that if that was something she would be expected to do, I don’t think she would have been allowed to wear a tiara, which is something that the Princess of Wales will be allowed to do. I don’t think she wanted to play second fiddle, absolutely not. She didn’t want to be hidden behind another candlestick.”

What’s Next For Meghan Markle?

So far Meghan herself has not made any comments about the coronation. However, sources say that one of the reasons why she didn’t want to go to London was because the ceremony falls on the same day as her son Archie’s 4th birthday and that is something she wouldn’t miss for the world. It’s also being reported that Prince Harry will only stay in London for 24 hours and that the moment the coronation ceremony is over, he is going to hop on the next flight to Los Angeles so he can make it home on time for Archie’s birthday.
