That’s what some critics seem to believe as there’s a new report asking why Meghan Markle has not stepped in and stopped her husband Prince Harry from supposedly making a fool out of himself. Royal columnist Dan Wootton, who often has something to say about the royal family, took to his Daily Mail column to once again put Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on blast.

He says that because of Prince Harry’s courtroom catastrophe, to his memoir Spare, and everything else in between, he’s managed to destroy any credibility that the Sussexes have left.

Wootton put it this way, “The Duchess of Sussex has chosen to completely withdraw from her husband’s public business. ‘H,’ Meghan could have said, ‘none of this is worth the toll it’s taking on our lives. You don’t have the proof to win this court case – you look stupid, it’s damaging our business interests and making it almost impossible to create the happy Californian utopia we envisioned.’”

Wootton added, “Instead, she left him in the hands of a ghostwriter who has helped him destroy every family relationship Harry had left and the Hacked Off cabal, a rabid group of the rich and powerful mixed in with attention-seeking reformed phone hackers who have been on a decade-long mission to bring down the British Press.”

Of course, many royalists have commented about the matter on Twitter. Some have even said, “She is sadly mistaken if she thinks her brand has been sufficiently separated from his. In the decades left to her the world will always think of her and just harry in the same breath or memory. long live the wicked witch,” along with, “Could it be that her prime aim here is revenge on Piers Morgan regardless of consequences to Harry? Let’s think of it that way.”
