Meghan Markle Reportedly Looking To Befriend Julia Roberts For The Tig Revival

It’s been a while since rumors and sources started reporting that the Duchess of Sussex is very much interested in relaunching her lifestyle and travel blog The Tig. However, even though she will now be covering a broader topic, she still wants some star power backing the blog to increase its chances of success.

Fans already know that Meghan Markle is very much interested in representing brands in influencer-type deals, and this blog can pave her way in that aspect. And it’s not a wonder that she’s wooing the “Pretty Woman” actress, Julia Roberts.

Meghan Markle Wants To Collaborate With Julia Roberts On Fashion and Wellness Initiatives

A senior Hollywood source, who happens to know both Meghan Markle and Julia Roberts, recently revealed that the former “Suits” actress is going after her personal icon Julia Roberts in hopes of partnering with her for the relaunch of The Tig.

Meghan previously gushed that the Oscar winner’s performance in “Pretty Woman” profoundly inspired her own career, with the source adding, “Since Harry and Meghan arrived three years ago, Meghan’s been making it a mission to befriend Julia.”

The admiration appears to be mutual as Roberts, 55, appreciated the Duchess being a fan in an interview, where she replied “I’m floating” to being told that the 42-year-old was a huge fan.

The source added: “Meghan’s ideal scenario would be for them to collaborate on fashion and wellness initiatives. As Meghan is also producing now on projects for Netflix, don’t rule out the possibility that she will try to find something on-screen to interest Julia.”

However, Roberts, while being the principal person she’s wooing, is no doubt the only one. Meghan is said to have reached out to several Hollywood A-list celebrities to collaborate on plans for The Tig relaunch, in her bid to acclimate to the role of a serious influencer.

A member of their team said, “Harry and Meghan are retooling, retrenching and preparing to change course in their efforts to establish themselves and their production company Archewell as serious players across multi-media platforms. Expect them to come out swinging in the New Year.”
