Mama June Will Soon Return To Georgia For This Reason!

The “Mama June: Road To Redemption” alum Mama June Shannon, recently confirmed to “The U.S. Sun” that she and her husband Justin Stroud would soon relocate to Georgia from Alabama in order to take good care of her eldest daughter Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell.

Anna was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma cancer, and Mama June wants to move close to her while she undergoes treatment.

“We are definitely leaving Alabama. I’m in the process of leaving Alabama now and I’m in the final steps of my legal issues,” said the Matriarch to “The U.S. Sun,” adding, “So we’ll definitely be going back to Georgia.”

The legal issue June referred to is her and her ex-boyfriend Geno Doak’s felony drug possession arrest in Alabama in 2019. She, however, shared that she and her husband currently “Split time between Alabama and Georgia and when we come to help Anna and visit, we stay in an Airbnb.”

Mama June — Anna Cardwell’s Cancer Has Left Mama June “Emotionally Drained.”

In an interview with PEOPLE, Mama June shared that ever since her daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, she has been left emotionally drained. She revealed that she can’t go on social media without people asking her about Anna, and it takes a lot for her not to break down and cry.

“I don’t go live [on TikTok] a lot because of Anna. I’m already emotionally drained because of that, I’m not being mean with the emotion… I’m not mentally [or] emotionally prepared to deal with 5,000 people asking me about Anna that day,” said the mom of four.

She continued, “I just have the energy to give to them and answer that a hundred times without crying on TikTok for three hours. You don’t know whether to scream. You don’t know whether to laugh. You don’t know whether to holler. You don’t know who to blame.”

Mama June said the feeling is mutual with her daughter because Anna is also feeling “mentally drained.” Unlike Mama June who now shies away from TikTok because of Anna, Anna embraced TikTok as her means of escape.

“You’re asking her that a hundred times, and that’s why I know it’s mentally draining for her too. They’re asking her stuff,” said June about Anna.

“And so for her escape is TikTok but her having 600, 700 people and she’s dancing and being goofy. They love that about Anna. They love that. So I’ll tell you, go follow Anna. Like on TikTok, like go follow. If she’s feeling good, she’s mostly on there.”
