Mama June Spoilers: Whatever Happened To Sugar Bear? Where Is He Now?

Mama June spoilers reveal that fans of the show have been curious to know what Sugar Bear Thompson has been up to since he was last seen on the show. He is known for being Alana Thompson’s father and appearing on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo with the family. As fans have started to do more digging on Sugar Bear and what happened to him, they have realized that he is almost unrecognizable these days. Mama June Spoilers – The Makeover For Sugar Bear

Even though he is no longer a television star, Sugar Bear has taken the time to make some changes to his appearance. In August of 2022, he shared with his fans that he had changed some things about himself. He had Botox, hair transplants, and veneers. The makeover that he had cost over $70,000 and after leaving television, some fans were curious as to how he paid for it. No matter who did, he thinks that he looks better than ever.

In fact, he told his followers, “I haven’t stopped looking in the mirror; I don’t recognize the man in the mirror. I never thought I could have a smile I would be proud of, and I really love the Botox because I look a lot younger.”

Mama June Spoilers – What Is He Doing Today?

One of the last times that fans saw Sugar Bear on television was during an episode of Mama June: Road to Redemption in July 2022. In this episode, Lauryn Efird was in the process of adopting her sister, Alana since Mama June Shannon left her for drugs and alcohol. Sugar Bear was asked if he would sign over custody of Alana to her sister. This was very difficult for him to do, but in the end, it was probably the best idea. He did feel as if this was “signing Alana out of his life.”

When he signed over custody of Alana, he got very emotional. That is when she told the cameras, “My dad has always been one to just get emotional over things like that- like me and stuff- but it’s not like a real emotion. It’s all just an act. He just wants folks to feel bad for him.” It turns out that he has tried to call and text her, but she thinks it’s too little too late at this point for him to try and come back into her life. For now, Sugar Bear just seems to be living his life as far out of the spotlight as possible.
