Mama June Spoilers: Sugar Bear’s Wife Files Bankruptcy, What Happened?

Mama June spoilers reveal that Jennifer Thompson, Sugar Bear Thompson’s estranged wife, has filed for bankruptcy. Jennifer, who lives in Augusta, Georgia recently filed Chapter 13. This type of bankruptcy does allow Thompson to keep her property, but she have to pay off all of her debts within a specific amount of time. In most cases, it can be anywhere from three to five years. According to the legal paperwork, she is the only one listed. Let’s find out more.

Who Is Jennifer Thompson?

Fans of the show may recognize Jennifer from when she married Sugar Bear in 2017. The couple seemed to be very much in love and he even proposed to her again in 2019. Just about five years after their marriage, Jennifer told her fans that she and Sugar Bear were going their separate ways.

She wrote on Facebook, “Me and Mike have went out separate ways. Yes, it’s hard but we will work through it and we will still remain friends. So now when everyone sees us and we are not together everyone will know what’s going on.”

She went on to say, “I am truly grateful that I got to do six seasons on WETV with some great people. I thought I would never get to do and meet some of the most famous people ever.”

Has Sugar Bear Moved On?

From the looks of his social media accounts, Sugar Bear may have already moved on to date another woman. He has been seen with Heather Rood and there is some speculation about if they are still dating.

The last time that they were actually seen together on social media was back in October of 2022. Sugar Bear has been going through a lot lately though. In fact, he was supposed to check into rehab for his drug addiction, but he got cold feet.

Right now, fans of Mama June: Family Crisis are curious as to what will happen with Jennifer’s bankruptcy case. It doesn’t look as if Sugar Bear is involved with her legal and financial issues.

They did file for divorce, but it is unclear if their divorce has been finalized. We will continue to keep an eye on Sugar Bear as he tries to get through a tough time in his life.
