King Charles Is In No Hurry To Fix Things With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

It’s been over ten months since “Spare” hit the shelves, yet communications between Prince Harry and King Charles are yet to be restored to what it once was. In fact, sources claim there’s rarely any communication on both sides.

Prince Harry Reportedly “Regretting” Throwing His Family Under the Bus for Some Hollywood Cash Out

Let’s be honest, Prince Harry airing his family’s dirty laundry with the world in the name of anger is not going to score him any family points.

And it’s something that if he’s got any level of human empathy, he’s bound to regret sometime or other. Royal author Tom Quinn believes he’s already regretting it.

Quinn told the Express: “Harry’s made it very clear he feels horribly, badly treated. I think he’s already beginning to regret it because he understands the value of being a member of the Royal Family.”

So far, Harry has accused his family of passing on “generational pain,” accused them of leaking negative stories about him and wife Meghan Markle to the press, and racism, or as Harry puts it these days, “unconscious bias.” Apart from attacking his brother and father, he’s also directed some of the blame to William’s wife, Princess Kate, which was something a friend said was “going too far.”

King Charles Knows Repairing Relationship With Prince Harry will Take Time

However, King Charles knows he hasn’t done everything right as a parent and feels that he does deserve some of the blame, according to a source.

The source said: “Has His Majesty made mistakes when it comes to parenting? Yes. Would he privately admit he could have done some things better, or at least differently? Of course. But while I am sure they still don’t agree on everything all the time, he and the Prince of Wales are firmly united now around a common shared interest, which is to keep the institution in a place where it can serve the nation.”

King Charles is said to feel pain that he has “barely any level of communication” with his younger son and his family.

The source said: “There’s a lot of hurt on both sides, but time is a healer. For now, it is baby steps forward.”

They added: “It’s very sad His Majesty doesn’t get to see his son or his grandchildren, but there’s no rush to patch things up.”
