Kate Middleton Is Being Called ‘Lazy’ For This Reason

It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t the only members of the royal family who are being called lazy these days. In fact, there’s a new report that suggests there are growing concerns over Prince William and Kate Middleton’s behavior.

That’s because with each passing year, it seems like they are doing less royal engagements and public appearances. That, of course, isn’t a very good sign for the monarchy’s future. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Is Being Called ‘Lazy’ For This Reason

According to figures that have been published on Gert’s Royal web site, the Princess of Wales has only done 40 engagements so far.

However, she’s also done another 40 with her husband, Prince William. But compared to her numbers from back in 2019, Kate Middleton had already done 120 engagements during this time that year.

If that weren’t enough, it’s also been noted that the Princess of Wales has only taken on engagements that were close to him or in nearby London. It almost seems like she refuses to travel further out than she has to. One source close to the situation says that Kate’s work has only been in areas that have been “in neighboring counties or nearby London.”

Another royal critic added, “Last year, Monarchy Inc undertook 30 percent fewer engagements than pre-pandemic, the fewest notched up in one year since 1983. (Not counting, of course, the Covid and lockdown years).”

However, it’s also been said that Kate Middleton is not being lazy. Instead, she’s just adopted a different approach to her work. A tipster said, “The princess has made it clear that they intend to approach their new roles in their own way, focusing more on creating impact and legacy and less on ribbon-cutting appearances for appearances’ sake.”

There’s always a good chance that Kate is just trying to stay home because she wants to stay close to her children, right? After all, it’s not easy being a full-time working mom, and a royal one at that.
