Duggar Family news reveals, according to The Sun, Joy-Anna recently helped her son Gideon celebrate his fifth birthday. In an Instagram post, the 19 Kids and Counting alum shared a picture of Gideon standing with his arms on his hips, presumably like his dad.

Joy-Anna captioned the image gushing over her young boy, writing, “This big guy turned 5 yesterday!

Gideon genuinely loves people. He has the biggest smile on his face 99% of the time.

“He is loyal and a great protector of his little sister. He wants to be a “worker man” when he grows up. His favorite color ‘today’ is blue. And he loves working with any kind of heavy equipment.

We love you BIG, Gid!”

Duggar Critics Weigh in … Again

Austine Forsyth, Gideon’s father previously shared a snap of Gideon sitting on his father’s lap as they rode on a tractor, writing, “Gideon loves anything that involves heavy equipment.” In a Reddit thread, critics blasted the Counting On veteran for allowing Gideon to play “with dangerous equipment.”

One critic blasted sarcastically, “We also have video evidence of this kid fooling around on tractors and stuff.” Another asked, “Heavy equipment? Does that sound…safe?” A third, mostly concerned Redditor advised, “Joy, he is too small to be working with heavy equipment!”

Still a fourth admonished, “we tell our boy he got to drive the dump truck, but he obviously didn’t get to drive the dump truck. There’s a difference, Joy!” Yet a fifth joked, “How did he go from coloring outside the lines to operating ‘heavy equipment?’”

Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband Austin Forsyth share two children together, Gideon and two-year-old Evelyn, with a third one on the way. This, of course, isn’t the first time Joy-Anna has been lambasted by armchair critics for her parenting choices.

In one such instance, Joy-Ann shared a few snaps of her and her two-year-old daughter playing with a bunch of balloons. In one shot the toddler nuzzles a balloon with her nose. Fans began bellowing that the balloon would “pop in front of” Evelyn’s face.
