Josh Duggar’s Convictions Prevent Him From Voting

The Counting On spoilers suggests that Josh Duggar‘s convictions will prevent him from voting. He won’t be able to act like a member of society anymore. Read on for the latest development in his prison sentence.

Counting On Spoilers – Josh Duggar’s Voting Rights Taken Away

According to the Counting On spoilers, the court took away Josh Duggar’s voting rights. Fans want to know if he can still vote due to his convictions.

The user CuriousJackInaBox asked on Reddit: “Did Josh lose his right to vote due to his convictions? I don’t recall ever seeing a discussion on that topic here. Some states take away the voting rights of people with felony convictions.”

However, the original user argued that felons shouldn’t have their voting rights taken away from them. They should live in this country the same way as everyone else. That same user argued that felons should be able to vote from prison.

“Will Josh’s conviction keep him from voting just while in prison or will it be for longer? Would it be permanent if he did lose the right to vote?” the user asked.

The Counting On spoilers reveal that Josh Duggar would not only be able to get out of prison, but he would have to pay his fines and finish parole and probation.

He was sentenced to 12 years of prison, including 20 years of supervised release in Arkansas. Once he goes through these steps, he could request for his voting rights to be restored for 32 years.

Counting On Spoilers – Josh Duggar Will Have To Request Voting Rights

This suggests that Josh will have to apply to get his voting rights back. He will have to wait until he completes his parole period, according to the Felon Restoration of Voting Rights for Convicted Felons brochure from the Pulaski Circuit and County Clerk’s Office.

Some fans joked that his prison sentence is the gift that keeps on giving. His rights have been stripped away because of his crimes.

The Counting On spoilers reveal that Josh will be 60 years old when his supervised release ends. His life will forever end up in the state’s hands.

However, some fans fear that Josh could leave prison early and return to television. However, it might be harder for Josh since he’s a convicted pedophile and no church would want to be associated with him.

“Jim Baker got out of prison and is right back on TV drifting. So Josh could do that,” one fan wrote.

What are your thoughts on Josh Duggar losing his voting rights? Do you think felons should have the right to vote from prison? Do you think Josh deserves what’s coming to him? Sound off below in the comment section.
