Jim Holt, Testifier At Josh Duggar Trial Slapped With Protective Order

Jim Holt and Jim Bob Duggar were friends for their entire lives. The two even followed a similar career path in politics in Arkansas. Both Jim and his wife Bobye had a great friendship with the Duggar family, Actually their daughter, Kaeleigh and Josh had a brief romantic relationship. Jim Holt later went on to testify at Josh Duggar’s CSAM-related trial. But now, Jim has reportedly been slapped with two protective orders.

TLC Fans didn’t really know much about the Holt family until the trial of Josh Duggar. They were not really part of the 19 Kids and Counting show, or on Counting On. Recall,19 Kids and Counting was canceled after news hit the headlines about Josh’s molestation of his sisters. However, they fast became known names when the court allowed the molestation to be part of the CSAM trial. After that, people discovered that Kaeleigh Holt had dated Josh when they were treens.

Although Jim Holt was close to Jim Bob, that didn’t stop him and his wife from testifying and spilling more tea about Josh. According to her testimony, Bobye disclosed plenty of details. She recounted that she, her husband, and Jim Bob were close friends and even counseled Josh as they all frequented the same church. It was also brought to light that Josh confessed to having an unhealthy attraction toward his younger siblings. Now, in an interesting development, Bobye and her son Samuel have reportedly gone on to file protective orders against her husband,

Jim Holt Spoilers – Accusations of Domestic Violence?

The news about the protection orders came via Katie Joy of Without A Crystal Ball On YouTube. She wrote, “…star witness…has been slapped with multiple orders of protection by his wife, Bobye, who was also a star witness against Josh.” Additionally, their son, Samuel, aged 20 also filed for protection. In her video, Katie explained that all the details are not available. However, “there was: an order of protection filed on April 20th.”

The son of Jim Holt, Samuel is 20 years old, and Katie said that the protection order was filed by him “in Washington County in Arkansas.” Apparently, a “temporary protection order was granted by a Washington County judge.” The documents share by Without A Crystal Ball on YouTube revealed that a hearing was set for May 8.

According to Katie Joy, Bobye also filed for a protection order against Jim Holt on April 21.

At this point, not much else is known. Katie Joy Joy can’t say whether any “criminal charges” will arise. Notably, she couldn’t find any “pending court cases” against Samuel’s dad. If any further information comes to light we will keep you informed.
