Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar Spoilers – What Is Shiny Happy People?
Shiny Happy People takes a look into the IBLP religious organization and the Duggars family. Jill Dillard has spoken out against the family. She addressed Josh Duggar’s abuse scandal. She also revealed that none of the kids were paid for their appearances on the TLC series.
Jill was forced to sign a contract she was young. She recalls Jim Bob pushing her to sign it at their dining table. Since she couldn’t question anything, she had to go along with it and sign her life away. Little did she know that she wouldn’t see a cent from the show.
She also had to hand over the footage of herself giving birth to her first child even though she didn’t want to. The TLC producers told Jill to take it up with Jim Bob. Of course, she didn’t because patriarchy rules in his home. His daughters have no say unless they were to leave the home.
The docuseries have caused a divide among the family. Some of the family members have spoken out against Shiny Happy People. Regardless, it’s not all about the Duggars.
There are victims who speak out about the cult-like religious organization and its abuse. Unfortunately, the Duggars have overshadowed the victims and their stories.
Jim Bob – Prevents Kids From Seeing It
Unsurprisingly, Jim Bob Duggar is against Shiny Happy People. Earlier this mom, Jim Bob, and his wife Michelle Duggar shared a statement ahead of the release. Now, they’re preventing their youngest children from watching it online.
That shouldn’t be hard since the couple raises a super-conservative household. The kids aren’t allowed to watch entertainment on television or on the family computer. They’re also not allowed to have their own iPads or smartphones.
An insider argues that their kids could still get a hold of it. The source told the UK tabloid The Daily Mail that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar can’t dictate their kids. Eventually, they’re going to see some of the clips floating around the internet. It’s all that people have been talking about for the past few weeks.
“There’s no way around it. You can stick your head in the sand, but it’s all anyone is talking about,” the insider told the Daily Mail. “Some refuse to watch it, while others watch it in secret.”
