Duggar Family News – Deanna Duggar Is Crying Over Fake Family

Duggar Family news reveals that, according to The Sun, Deanna shared a cartoon picturing a man and a snake. The cartoon’s text read: The most dangerous animal on the planet is a fake friend.” On Tuesday, the gospel singer shared the cartoon on her Instagram account and captioned it: “So true!!” Notably, the Counting On veteran added, “Also fake family!!!” with some crying emojis.

Her daughter Amy, who doesn’t seem very happy with the Duggars, liked the post, perhaps in solidarity. As Duggar fans may know, Deanna no longer speaks to her brother Jim Bob, 57, or his wife Michelle, 56.

Deanna hasn’t spoken with her brother or his family since their son, Josh, 34, was arrested for downloading and possessing child pornography in 2021. Deanna told The Sun in June that she and Jim Bob once had an “awesome” relationship.

Asked if she thought the two would ever mend their friendship, Deanna said, “I want everyone to get along. We’ll have to see on that one. I don’t know.” Later in the interview, she demanded that her nephew Josh get “psychological help.” Deanna also seemed certain that Josh was “guilty” of the crimes for which he’s been accused.

Josh Duggar was sentenced to 12 years for downloading child pornography. He was sentenced to 151 months (12 years) in the Western District of Arkansas Federal Court in Fayetteville in December 2021.

Of the conviction, Deanna said, “I think he’s guilty. I think he should get some help to really find out what is going on. Find out what caused all this and get the psychological help he needs. My father had serious mental issues. It could’ve been passed down to Josh. I do not know.”

It also wasn’t the first time Josh displayed such proclivities. Before his April 2021 arrest, then-15-year-old Josh was involved in a molestation scandal involving siblings as well as a family friend. He molested five underage girls in the family home, a police report that was dated 2006 but released to the public in 2015 read.

Deanna, who has previously appeared on both 19 Kids and Counting as well as Counting On, said of the scandals: “I was very shocked about everything that has happened. I was told some different things. It’s a really complicated situation when you’re told one thing and something else happens.

“I was watching our local news and we heard that homeland security stopped by Josh’s car lot. I called one of the family members, and I asked if it was true, and they said, ‘No, they just stopped by.’ Homeland Security doesn’t just stop by.”
