Soon after the final episode of Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, aired on Amazon Prime, the news arrived that Jill Dillard had written a book, Counting the Cost. In creating the book, she was assisted by her husband Derick, and Craig Borlase. Initially, the news came that the book by the Counting On alum would only release in January of next year. The news that a book was coming really made Counting On fans excited. After all, they love the Duggar daughter. Plus, her husband, Derick becomes increasingly popular. At one stage, people really trolled him. But, his steadfast love for his wife, turned opinions around to a large degree. In fact, he called out Jim Bob Duggar long ago for not paying the kids to appear in the TLC show. Of course, fans hope for much more from them in Counting The Cost.

Jinger Vuolo also wrote her book which has already been launched. Becoming Free, Indeed became a bestseller very fast. But, a lot of people thought that JInger took too long to support her sister’s effort. Even when she did react, some fans felt that it was a backhanded compliment to Jill Dillard. That is because she spoke about how her own book was “God-honoring.”Some people thought that she meant Jill’s wasn’t.

On Friday, June 9, the Counting On alum took to her Instagram and shared a photo of herself with Derick. Clearly, there are not many issues between her and JInger. In fact, she specifically thanked Jeremy and Jinger Vuolo for arranging a special date for a spa and a meal. She said, “Thanks for the love, prayers and support…& coffee, so I didn’t have to depend on my yogurt coffee??☕️ .”

Next, Jill Dillard talked about her book and asked if people had seen where she shared that it comes earlier than expected. Directing them to her blog, she said, “We have a NEW, earlier book release date!! ⬆️” Well, before they clicked away, many fans noticed that Jeremy replied by saying, “Love you guys!!”

In the blog that Jill Dillard and Derick run, it said, “Counting the Cost, is going to release earlier than previously expected! Due to y’all’s overwhelming support and interest in our story, we’ve been able to pull some strings and now the book is coming out four months earlier than initially expected!”
