Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is trending on social media at the moment. Why is that? Well, it appears that a lot of TLC fans are discussing her possible warrant of arrest. Is she really wanted? Read on to find out.
Sister Wives – Star Janelle Brown Talks Warrant Of Arrest
On April 7 Janelle took to her Instagram and discussed a warrant of arrest. According to her video, she’s wanted for failing to appear “for jury duty.” Well, that is a crime and you could get arrested for it. However, she isn’t all that sure that she ever received a notification for jury duty. So, she questioned the person who gave her a call about it.
The Sister Wives star did mention that she has a fairly difficult address because that’s for her personal protection. So she wondered if it had gone amiss. However after she talked for some time, she started to see some red flags. Actually, it turned out that that was just as well. Apparently, it was just a scammer. However, she did say that he was a “tricky” one.

Kody’s former second wife notified her followers that she started to get suspicious when she told the caller that she wanted to go and check something out. The scammer insisted that she could not leave the phone or the “computer would automatically generate a warrant of arrest.” In her video, Janelle elaborated, saying that she finally got rid of the scammer by telling him that she has a very “good lawyer.”
Sister Wives fans heard that the reason why she shared her story is that she wanted them to know that there is a scammer. Another thing that made her suspicious, was the fact that the “area code” of the caller was “local.” And, that shouldn’t happen. Furthermore, she said that the guy told her that he called from the “local sheriff’s office,” but she knew the call wasn’t coming from there.
Sister Wives – TLC Fans Comment
Sister Wives fans took to the comments section of the post on Instagram. Many of them experienced something similar. One of the wrote, “They pulled this on my 75yr old mom, thank goodness I was there because she was ready to give them her card number or drop off a check in panic…It’s so sad out here for our elderly.”
Meanwhile, another TLC follower related their story: “I had that happen to me. I told the guy, since my husband is a Sheriff Deputy, which he not, I’ll just ask him to take care of this. They hung up so quick. ?????.”
