Millie Bobby Brown yesterday posted a black and white image with Jake Bongiovi which seems to tease their engagement.

When Millie Bobby Brown first starred as Eleven in Stranger Things season 1 in 2016, she was just a child. However, as parents know so well, they grow up so fast. It seems love is in the air for Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi, as the Stranger Things star teases their engagement. On Tuesday, April 11, she shared what seemed to be an engagement announcement. Brown posted a black and white image of herself, with Bongiovi’s arms wrapped around her, while both laughed with their eyes closed. Meanwhile, the former child star looked beautiful in a white lace dress and her hair pulled back.

However, what truly caught the eye was what looked like a giant diamond on the 19-year-old TV star’s finger. In her caption, the Stranger Things star wrote, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”

Moreover, Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake, 20, also posted loving images from their photo shoot, but this time in color. In one, he can be seen gazing out over the water while holding Millie close. A second image captures a romantic moment where they gaze into each other’s eyes. Jake’s caption read simply, “Forever” with a heart emoji.

Fellow cast members and fans react

Fellow Stranger Things star Jamie Campbell Bower was obviously thrilled with the news as he shared three red heart emojis and a flame emoji on both their posts.

However, some were concerned, believing that 19 is too young to be engaged. However, one of Millie’s followers fully supported her choices, writing:

I don’t agree with people saying that Millie is too young to get married. My cousin has married at 19 and is now 24 and happily married – same thing with my Grandma and older family relatives. People shouldn’t dictate what age to marry at as long as you are older than 18.

However, while Millie’s post mostly attracted congratulations and love, some of those on Bongiovi’s post were skeptical, as there is no sign of the diamond ring. One follower wrote, “are you engaged IM SO CONFUSED,” while another commented, “are yall getting married or something im confused.”

However, there were also many warm-hearted congratulations, with one fan writing, “He liked it , and he put a ring on it ❤”

Another wrote, “Are u engaged? If so congrats, i got married at 19 and still together at 58…my classmate!❤ be happy.” Meanwhile, Jake’s Uncle Matthew wrote, “Congrats nephew.”
