The Bold and the Beautiful fans have cried out over the years about the soap’s endless love triangle between Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).  In fact, after a ratings drop during the last Steffy and Liam almost reunion, the writers actually changed things up a bit and brought in some fresh meat for Steffy, her husband Finn (Tanner Novlan)

  In fact, despite a hot and steamy kiss in Rome, we are still trying to wrap our minds around what Hope could possibly see in Thomas.  But, could her fling with her former stalker be simply a case of lack of options?

The Bold and the Beautiful rumors have been heating up on social media that Scott Clifton may be leaving the soap opera.  That would explain TPTB’s sudden and nonsense change of course, putting Hope and Thomas back together.

According to B&B spoilers, devastated Liam Spencer then tried to rekindle his romance with married Steffy Forrester, but she sent him packing and turned him down.  That means Liam Spencer is the odd man out.  If Hope Logan winds up with Thomas, Scott Clifton may not see much screen time at all.

The odds of the writers killing him off permanently are slim to none.  But, when you take in to how bleak Liam’s love life looks right now, it would make sense for him to leave town for a while and get a change of scenery.

It’s also worth noting that Scott Clifton’s real life marriage also fell apart in 2023, and the actor confirmed he and his wife of 10 years had split up and were living separately.  Could Clifton’s marriage woes be the reason behind the actor taking some time off?
