Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers promise more twists and turns in Megan Hathaway’s (Miranda Wilson) lab. It seems as if Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) daughter is dead set on keeping Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) to herself, and she’s gone to extreme lengths to do so.
Not only has she been able to bring Bo back to life, which is a feat in itself, but she’s also brainwashed him against his friends, family, and more importantly, the love of his life Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso). With that said, she also brainwashed Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) to do her bidding, too. Has brainwashing become the new amnesia in the land of Salem?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – It Doesn’t Just Stop At Bo Brady & Harris Michaels …
DOOL spoilers suggest that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is finally over his brainwashing debacle. For months he was brainwashed, at the hands of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) to ensure he forgot about Gabi Hernandez (Camil Banus) and kept focused on Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Now, the brainwashing angle is certainly not new to Days or even daytime drama. John Black (Drake Hogestyn) was brainwashed over the years, multiple times, and so was Hope, as well as Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall), just to name of few (but there were many others). However, with three characters suffering with it over the course of mere months, Days feels a lot like an Oprah Show “Favorite Things” episode; you get a brainwashing, you get a brainwashing … EVERYONE GETS A BRAINWASHING! It just feels like “too much” and their go-to idea as of late.
DOOL Spoilers – Brainwashing Isn’t The Only Storyline That’s “Over-Done”
The show in the past has been known to be guilty of overdoing storylines. Evil twin angles, switching baby arcs, and of course, the doppelganger storylines have all been recycled far too many times to count. Not to mention anything about the Devil, and Dr. Rolf using his serum to bring people back from the dead. Brainwashing can be an intriguing story to follow; especially when it makes a popular character go against their personality. With that said, the show does need to slow down on using it so much, moving forward. But will they?
