Is Below Deck Star Capt. Lee Rosbach In Row With Captain Sandy?

Below Deck spoilers, news, and updates reveal that Captain Lee Rosback is clashing with Below Deck.  When the season took off, Rosbach said he was appreciative that Sandy stepped in to fill in for him during his health issues. Captain Lee Rosbach has been a fixture on the show since it hit small screens in 2013. But, as fans know, it hasn’t been smooth sailing for Rosbach as he has had many health issues to contend with. Yawn had to fill in for him in season 10. Captain Rosback expressed his gratitude for the assistance in an interview with PEOPLE in 2022.

“She really did me a solid. I’m grateful she was there,” Rosbach said and admitted it wasn’t easy, saying, “That’s a very difficult situation that I put her in. You’re taking over somebody else’s boat and somebody else’s crew.”

Fans may be aware that Captain Sandy Yawn replaced Captain Mark Howard on Below Deck Mediterranean. In that original Below Deck series fans got to see the captain at work and get a feel for her leadership skills but that was the first time that a captain crossed over to another show.

Captain Sandy revealed in a confessional that taking over for another Captain was “never easy.” Her goal was to ensure Rosbach felt “supported.” Though she promised to look after the crew of the St. David, apparently Captain Lee took issue with the way she ran things.

Both Captains have been embattled for the past several weeks. Captain Rosbach was shocked over Camille Lamb being axed, claiming that Captain Sandy didn’t let him know when she fired Camille and that he didn’t like watching it play out via television.

“Why contact me after and tell me at all?” he told Us Weekly in January. “Plenty of time to call me after, but not before. She made the right call. But lacked in procedure and respect. Just the way I roll.”

Below Deck Spoilers – Strife’s Not New To Captain Sandy

Captain Sandy has had her share of disagreements, previously feuding with former Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier whom she fired in season 5 of her show. “He’s in the hospital. Who’s gonna call and say, ‘Can I fire Camille?’ Never in a million years would I do that,” Captain Sandy explained to SiriusXM’s Reality Checked.

“But what I did was give him a courtesy call saying, ‘By the way, I did fire her.
