While many fans believe 90 Day Fiancé is scripted, Shaun Robinson has another theory about the craziness of the TLC reality show. According to the show’s host, the drama comes due to lack of communication between the couples prior to marriage. Meanwhile, she cannot wait until fans get to watch the latest season Tell-All, because it is “just absolutely bananas.”

Shaun Robinson on the craziness of 90 Day Fiancé

90 Day Fiancé host Shaun Robinson, 61, attended the A World of Good Gala on Friday night and People got to speak to her. When asked why the TLC reality show is so “crazy,” Shaun has theories of her own.

Robinson directly blamed the crazy drama of the show on a lack of communication between the couples prior to getting married, saying:

They didn’t always communicate well before they got married just to ask the basics. And that’s probably why there’s so much wild things that go on because they just didn’t talk about all the things they needed to talk about before they said, ‘I do.’

“‘Oh, do you want to have children? You don’t. Oh, really? I didn’t know that. Well, even though we’ve been dating for three years, I never asked you if you wanted to have children or what religion do you want to…,” Shaun said, adding, “I don’t know. I’m not sure why they didn’t ask the question.”

Among the examples of miscommunication, Robinson mentioned Danielle Mullins “presenting” Mohamed Jbali with annulment papers. She also mentioned Angela Deem, “flashing her girls to the camera” during a Tell-All. Shaun also mentioned cast members “storming off” the set.

Speaking of Tell-Alls, the 90 Day Fiancé host can’t wait for fans to watch the latest, as it is “just absolutely bananas.” While fans are used to Tell-Alls shocking the TLC audience, Shaun says that the latest is “really crazy.” Meanwhile, she added, “But here’s the thing. These people are really passionate.”

90 Day Fiancé compared to other dating shows

Robinson then noted that 90 Day Fiancé is unique, as most of the couples are already together before signing up for the TLC reality show. This means they have, to some extent, already built their relationship.

“Of all the dating shows on TV, the show puts the couples together. [90 Day Fiancé] is the only one that I know of where the couples are actually in the relationship before they even come on the show,” she said.

Meanwhile, whatever happens in the TLC reality show, Shaun says her hosting job is “a lot of fun” and she is having the time of her life doing it. Robinson recalled how it was when she first started and they showed her “real clips of the show,” she thought it wouldn’t last, saying:

“ I was thinking to myself, ‘Oh, this probably will go on a couple seasons. It probably won’t be around that long.’ And it kept going. And it kept going. You’re adding another spinoff? You mean they have 12 spinoffs now?”

Meanwhile, Shaun says she gets DMS from all over the world from people watching 90 Day Fiancé, adding again, “It’s crazy.”
