Grey’s Anatomy Star Kevin McKidd On Safari With Girlfriend Danielle Savre

Grey’s Anatomy star Kevin McKidd recently posted what may be the happiest video ever. It turns out that he and his girlfriend, Station 19 star Danielle Savre have been on the safari “trip of a LIFETIME.” McKidd posted the video to his Instagram page and it is a compilation of wonderful moments on safari in Zambia. Kevin McKidd is out of the Grey’s Anatomy operating room and on safari with his girlfriend, Station 19 star, Danielle Savre. According to a new video posted to both their Instagram pages, they have been on a “trip of a LIFETIME” in the Lower Zambezi national park on the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia.

As reported recently, McKidd, who plays Dr. Owen Hunt on Grey’s Anatomy, has been working closely with Savre, who plays firefighter Maya Bishop on Station 19. The couple has appeared in several crossover episodes between the two Shondaland shows.

Romance on safari in Zambia

Among the scenes in the Instagram video, the couple embraces and kisses on a boat on the Zambezi River. Meanwhile, more scenes show baboons, warthogs, elephants, lions, hippos and a fast-moving crocodile in Zambia.

However, most notable is how obviously happy Kevin and Danielle were while enjoying their safari. Their relationship was recently reported and is obviously a happy union indeed.

In his caption to the video, McKidd wrote: “A million thank you’s to everyone @chiawasafaris & @howelltalentrelations for the trip of a LIFETIME!”

The Grey’s Anatomy actor added that their “hospitality, knowledge, heart and humor made our trip to the Lower Zambezi beyond our expectations,” adding:

Our adventure was breathtaking, awe inspiring, humbling and uplifting, all because of you guys. Simon, Juliet, Nobby, Derrick, Eric and everyone else we met made us feel like family. We miss you and we will be back! Thank you!

Moreover, McKidd added the hashtags “#chiawacamp, #lowerzambezi  #travelpartner.”

Free to be together

Kevin, 49, and Danielle, 34, have been traveling the world together recently and were spotted sharing a passionate embrace in Italy. In that clip, new couple was hugging and kissing while they explored the beautiful town of Bellagio.

Meanwhile, leading to the couple going public, McKidd, 49, finalized his divorce from his former wife, Arielle Goldrath last week. He had previously announced that they were separating in July 2022. McKidd and Goldrath were married for five years and share two children, a son, Aiden, and a daughter, Nava.

Previous to that, the actor was married to Jane Parker from 1999 to 2017 and they share two children, Iona, 21, and Joseph, 23.

Meanwhile, Danielle was previously with Chicago Blackhawks hockey analytics/video analyst Andrew Contis.
