GH Spoilers: Wu Continues To Gain Power In Port Charles

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) has slowly been amassing quite a bit of power in Port Charles.

Selina was given permission to do a limited amount of business in Port Charles as long as their interests didn’t overlap. Sonny agreed as long as Selina adhered by his rules, the number one rule being no drugs were to be brought into town under Wu.

Selina’s first move was to institute a high-stakes power game in the back room of the Savoy.

General Hospital Spoilers – Curtis Ashford Plans To Keep The Savoy!

Even though he was recently shot and is currently paralyzed, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) turned Selina down when she offered to purchase the Savoy from him.

But Selina is persistent and will no doubt continue to inquire about it. Right now, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) is running the nightclub for Curtis while he recovers.

It seems well within Selina’s playbook to incriminate Marshall in a crime and then promise to make the evidence go away if Curtis agrees to the sale. Selina is quite persistent when she wants something.

GH Spoilers – Selina Wu Continues To Have A Formidable Presence In Port Charles!

Sonny may not be aware of just how much Selina involved herself in Port Charles. She is a major stockholder of Deception, and even though she is usually a silent partner, she definitely has some say-so in the company’s plans.

In addition, Selina has Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) in her debt. Wu insinuated that Gladys could pay down her debt by providing Selina with information about Sonny’s business dealings.

This is a direct move against Sonny and would certainly end the peace between them.

Although Sonny allowed Selina to have the poker games in the Savoy, that was because Sonny isn’t involved in gaming.

Once he discovers Selina targeted his own cousin, he will likely decide that Selina can no longer do business in Port Charles.

That might very well be why Selina wants the Savoy for herself. She will be much more difficult to remove from town if she has the Savoy under her control.
