GH Spoilers: With Spencer And Ace At Home, Where Will Esme And Trina Both Fit?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease the joy that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) feels now that she has her son — Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) — back in her arms is immeasurable. She owes this blessed reunion to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), and she’s slowly going to grow determined to repay him in ways no one would’ve seen coming.

Shacking up with Spencer provides her with ample opportunities to show him just how grateful she is. But unfortunately, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) consumes Spencer’s every thought. Esme will have her work cut out for her making sure Trina becomes a distant memory, but she’s not worried about it. Trina, on the other hand, will grow quite concerned about how much time Spencer is spending with Esme soon. Does she have every right to be worried?

Trina will sense a shift in the dynamics of her relationship with Spencer, especially since he’s going to start spending more time at home with Ace and Esme.

Despite her growing suspicions, she’s unsure about how to approach the issue without risking her relationship. Any semblance of concern that he’s cheating or warming up to Esme is going to leave Spencer reassuring Trina that her mom must be getting to her. Is she though, or are Trina’s instincts throwing up red flags as Spencer guides her to ignore them?

Spencer is in a difficult situation. He wants the best for Ace, but he can’t change the fact that Esme is his mother. As he takes Trina’s advice and tries to see the good in Esme for now, he can’t help but think about his own childhood without a mother.

He knows firsthand the pain and loneliness that comes with growing up without a mom. Spencer may not be thinking about reconciliation with Esme, but he could start seeing her as the doting mother she clearly is, and that might spell trouble down the road.

The more he warms up to Esme and feels good about sharing family with her, the more Trina might feel like there is no room for her to squeeze back into Spencer’s life.
