GH Spoilers: Willow Survives After Surprising Bone Marrow Match!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) may not be long for this world. She was diagnosed with Leukemia several months ago but held off on any type of medical treatment while she was pregnant. By the time the baby was born, the untreated illness had progressed to Stage 4. Doctors had hoped that they could use the cord blood from the baby to treat her but it turned out that wasn’t an option. Willow’s only hope for survival now is to hopefully find a bone marrow match.

General Hospital Spoilers – Who Will Be Willow Tait’s Doner?

So far, there hasn’t been a match. During this time, Willow discovered that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was her biological mother. It had been hoped that Nina would be a match, but unfortunately that was not the case. But Willow has other relatives now. Nina’s Aunt is Dr. Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) which also makes her Willow great aunt. O’Brecht recently asked to be tested, and she just might be the key to saving Willow.

GH Spoilers – Dr. Leisl O’Brecht Has Lost Both Of Her Children!

Leisl’s son was killed several years ago and her daughter Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was just recently murdered by Heather Webber (Allie Mills). She is suffering from great loss at the moment. Leisl felt helpless as she watched Britt slowly fade away, unable to help her. If she can provide the bone marrow needed to save Willow, it may help her. Even though she couldn’t save Britt, perhaps she can save Willow.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Family United!

Although Willow and Nina have had their share of animosity over the years. Perhaps if Leisl can save Willow it will go a long way toward repairing all the damage this family has done to one another over the years. Leisl and Willow will certainly form some sort of bond and Leisl will hope she can use that bond to finally bring Willow and Nina together. It’s not going to be easy but perhaps there is hope for this family after all.
