GH Spoilers: Will Leo’s Progress Decline In Light Of Ned Believing He’s Eddie Maine?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers state that the Quartermaine family will continue to reel in the aftermath of Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) brain injury trauma. As most fans know by now, he believes he’s Eddie Maine, an alter rockstar ego of his from the 1990s, and this may not only affect his marriage to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) but also all the progress Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) has made.

GH spoilers suggest that Ned’s condition will be hard for all his loved ones. He doesn’t recognize his wife, Leo, or even Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Dr. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) noted that his memory loss is quite common for brain injury victims; however, the good doctor couldn’t offer a timeline on how long this could all last.

During the Monday, June 19th episodes, fans saw just how much Leo was struggling with Ned’s condition before his dad woke up. After the young man realized that Quartermaine didn’t recognize him, he felt that much worse about the situation.

Leo was diagnosed with autism in 2021, in a beautiful storyline that helped raise awareness around the condition and also provide comfort to both parents and children who deal with being on the spectrum. Ned and Olivia work together with the rest of Q’s to ensure little Leo is given the tools to help him thrive and live a happy life.

All children, including ones like Leo, do well in a routine. With all that’s going on, Olivia (can’t blame her) might not be able to keep her son on the schedule he’s used to. Add into the mix his confused feelings about Ned, plus the recent rejection he faced, and Leo may regress.
