GH Spoilers: Who Will Laura Find In Chechnya?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) make a shocking discovery in Chechnya. The two friends, who were once enemies, along with Kevin Collins and Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) took off looking for Laura’s son, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) who vanished from Port Charles.

There is no telling what will happen to the group on this expedition. When the Cassadines are involved, there is always trouble. It looks like they will find someone, but is it the Cassadine prince or someone completely unexpected?

General Hospital Spoilers: Was Nikolas Taken To Chechnya?

When we last saw Nikolas, he was being held on a ventilator by Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), probably in Pautauk. So he couldn’t be in Chechnya. Or could he?

Mason is using Nikolas to blackmail Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). He claims his orders are coming from his “boss” who he mentioned is a woman.

It is not so far-fetched that the mysterious woman is none other than the evil Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), who is maybe not so dead after all. She may have brought her grandson to Chechnya where Laura will find him and bring him home.

The Shock Could Be Helena Herself

Whether or not Nikolas is in Chechnya, the shock may be that Helena is alive after all. She has been thought to be dead for years but those pesky Cassadines keep coming back to life.

Helena and Laura have been enemies since the Ice Princess storyline in the early 80s. The Cassadine matriarch put a curse on Laura and Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) on their wedding day. The family has been a thorn in Laura’s side ever since.

If she was to find Helena, there would be an epic battle, especially because Laura has joined forces with Valentin, who is Helena’s son.

Will Laura Find Luke On Her Journey?

Luke Spencer was said to be killed in a train accident, which was no accident and probably planned by the Cassadines. His body was never found, and we all know what that means. Luke could be very much alive and has been held in Chechnya all this time.

It would definitely be a shock to Laura to find her ex in the world of the living. A good shock. The problem is, Tony Geary swears that he is not coming back to GH. While fans would rejoice if he was to surprise us all, it’s not likely. But we can dream.

Is Spencer’s Mom Courtney Being Kept Prisoner?

There has been speculation that Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis) has been alive and in Chechnya for years and years.

Courtney is Spencer’s mom who died during the Port Charles Encephalitis outbreak. She was pregnant at the time and chose Spencer’s life over her own.

The Cassadines may have faked her death and kept her prisoner to keep her away from both Nikolas and her son. Since they both have become quite a disaster, they would have been much better off with Courtney in their lives.

Another option is that there is another not dead Cassadine in Chechnya. It could be Victor, Stephan, Mikkos, Stavros. The possibilities are endless.
