GH Spoilers: Who Is Dr. Damon Montague & What Is His Agenda?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that there may be more to Dr. Damon Montague (Darrin Spooner) than meets the eye.

The evil doctor teamed up with the worst mother-in-law of all time, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) to destroy Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattson) and gain control of her money.

This elaborate plan was all to pay off some gambling debts to Selina Wu (Lydia Look)? There had to be another way.

Gladys was always a schemer and may not have meant for things to go as far as they did. She is greedy and wants money. But what is behind the actions of Dr. Montague?

General Hospital Spoilers – Is Dr. Montague A Real Doctor?

It appears that Dr. Montague is a real psychiatrist. He works at General Hospital so he must be, right? Then again, stranger things have happened at GH.

In the city of Port Charles, faking a medical license wouldn’t be too difficult. Paternity tests are faked all the time, so why not a license?

GH Spoilers – Does The Creepy Doctor Have An Agenda?

Whether a real doctor or not, this guy is willing to go pretty far just for money. If he is found out, not only will he lose his license to practice medicine (if he has one), but he will also end up in prison. That’s a pretty big risk.

Does Montague have it in for Sasha? That is hard to believe, Sasha is nothing but sweet and loving. Everyone adores her. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has even become close with her after she pretended to be her long-lost daughter.

But we don’t know a lot about Sasha’s back story. There has been no information on her father whatsoever. Her mom’s name was Amanda but she passed away and her grandmother went on to raise her.

We don’t really have any idea who Sasha was before she came to Port Charles. Dr. Montague may be linked somehow to her past and have a vendetta against the Face of Deception. This may be the whole reason he came to GH and is now torturing Sasha.

General Hospital Spoilers – Fans Are Not Happy

GH fans are fierce and very protective over the characters they love. They do not appreciate the constant torment of Sasha for the last two years.

Even though Sofia Mattson was taking some time to have her second baby, Sasha could have had a much easier absence. Maybe something as simple as an extended trip for Deception? The writers didn’t have to turn her into a drug-addicted almost murderer and have her locked away with a crazy man as her doctor.

Hopefully, Sasha’s life will take a turn for the better when the actress returns. It’s time for her to be in a happy relationship, possibly become a mom, and have continued success at Deception.

Plus we may learn about Sasha’s past and if Dr. Montague had anything to do with it.
