GH Spoilers: What Is Dr. Monty’s End Game & Is He More Than “Just A Doctor”?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattson) is about to spiral. It’s all thanks to Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) scheming with her court-appointed therapist, Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder), better known to fans as “Dr. Monty”. Gladys wants to keep Ms. Corbin under guardianship so she can continue to waste away her money, so it makes sense that she’d ask her gambling buddy for help. But, Dr. Monty lending a hand, when he has so much to lose, doesn’t add up.

GH Spoilers: Maybe He’s Just An Awful Man?

GH spoilers hint Sasha will deal with old demons the week of July 24th. While this storyline is interesting, it’s been a hard watch for some fans as Ms. Corbin has been through unsurmountable heartbreak and has overcome so much this past year.

Plus, the fact that Gladys is behind this all, the very woman who months earlier worked so hard to protect Sasha, is beyond sad.

At the end of the day, Gladys has a lot to lose if when she’s exposed. But then again, she’s the one who dug herself into this hole. Still, why has Dr. Monty gone to extreme lengths for Gladys?

If he’s exposed, which could easily happen, he could lose his license and ruin his career. Would it all be worth it? Sure, he and Corbin are gambling buddies, but not necessarily “friends”. Could he just be an awful man or “interested” in Gladys, but is there more to Dr. Montague than meets the eye?

GH Spoilers: The Sonny Corinthos Factor

As of late, it seems as if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a major target on his back. From the feds to Selina Wu and the Pikeman warehouse shooting, all paths lead back to the mob boss.

As Sasha is close to Sonny and technically family, is Dr. Monty looking to cause chaos in Corinthos’s life or have him preoccupied with his cousin-in-law for another reason? Sounds crazy that a therapist would be linked to the mob, but maybe Dr. Monty isn’t a doctor after all, but rather a plant.
