General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, October 18 tease confrontations, issues and updates.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) confronts Tracy Quartermaine, (Jane Elliot) Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) work on issues, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) updates Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
General Hospital Spoilers – Confrontations
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Lois confronts Tracy, who bragged she was responsible for bringing Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) together.
Tracy obviously didn’t realize Brook Lynn had told her mother everything that happened and that Lois knows the truth about her blackmailing Brook Lynn to be a corporate spy.
Lois takes extreme exception to that remark and tears into Tracy with claws extended, ready to rumble! Tracy tries to spin it her own way, telling Lois she couldn’t be more wrong!
GH Spoilers – Issues
At the Ashford-Robinson house, Portia and Curtis try to work on their marital issues, which are numerous, many existing before he was shot.
Curtis is now in a wheelchair, likely for the rest of his life and he tells Portia he isn’t sure she can help him get past this.
Portia wants to help him and coddle him and mother him, but Curtis resists that kind of treatment. He’s a grown man who wants to stand on his own two feet, if not able to literally, at least figuratively.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jordan Ashford Brings Things To A Halt
At the hospital, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) who hasn’t even been officially put back as police commissioner brings things to a halt.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is on his way to question Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) who hasn’t yet regained consciousness.
She orders Dante to stand down, not go into that room, and stay away from that patient-acting like Dante went to gun him down!
Dante seems floored, her behavior is making no sense-this is a man who kidnapped a woman with a small child and tried to kill her.
Is Jordan again working with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and protecting a man who kidnapped her son?
GH Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt Doctors His Cousin
Meanwhile, in the room where Mason appears to be on life support, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) doctors his cousin.
He talks to Mason and tells him he’s in the hospital and he needs him to wake up. Mason got two bullets to the back but was alive when Dante checked him and called for an ambulance at the edge of that cliff.
If Dante and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) hadn’t shown up when they did, Ava Jerome (Maura West) would have been a goner.
General Hospital Spoilers – Close Calls
Elsewhere, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is questioning Dex, and she asks him how close he came from going over the cliff himself.
There was every indication Mason would have thrown Ava over if Dex had not engaged Mason, even if he again got “grazed” in the thigh.
“How close” was certainly too close as they were wrestling and rolling and almost at the edge by the time Dante arrived.
Josslyn had gotten the road information from Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) who’d lost touch with Dex. She called Dante and had told what she knew.
GH Spoilers – Updates
Back at the hospital, Carly is on the phone and she’s calling someone, likely Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with an update.
She tells him that Ava’s kidnapping isn’t the worst of it-likely also informing him of Cyrus’ release. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is also ready per the doctors to return to Pentonville and she is trying to prevent that happening.
At least now Avery Jerome-Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) mom is safe and that certainly is a good thing.
General Hospital Spoilers – Meanwhile, In The Corinthos House
Meanwhile, it looks like Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are enjoying their honeymoon in bed although it’s hard to tell whether they’re home or still on the island.
Sonny will be interrupted by the call from Carly, updating him about Ava, since he’d been trying to reach her about Avery going to the island and couldn’t.
But for now he’s with his bride in bed and he tells Nina something is a promise he can keep.
They’ll go home to trouble in Port Charles on all sides, if they’re not at home already. Things are happening all around they have no idea of-yet.
