GH Spoilers Wednesday, May 31: Waiting Games, Worried Mothers, Would-Be Mother’s Desperation

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, May 31 tease waiting games, worried mothers, and a would-be mother’s desperation. The Ashford-Robinson family waits on the results of Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity test, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) worries about her missing son, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is desperate.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sneak Attack

At the Invader office, Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) looks like she’s the victim of a sneak attack as Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wants to know what is going on. Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is there, and he appeared to be bending over and talking to Esmé as Alexis came through the door. Was Esmé talking to Greg about something she shouldn’t, or was Greg asking Esmé the wrong questions?

Esmé has been working for Alexis only just a short time, so of course when she hears something like that coming from her boss she’s going to be worried. As for Greg, was he trying to see if Esmé really has changed or something else?

GH Spoilers – Waiting Games

The entire Ashford-Robinson clan is playing waiting games, with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) waiting at General Hospital for the rest of the family to arrive. She called Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) who’s still at home with the rest of the family to let him know the DNA tests are back. She may be talking to Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) as she nervously says “it’s now or never” although Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) could have arrived as well. Marcus is bound to be waiting for the test results to be read to see whether he, or Curtis, is Trina’s birth father.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anticipation

Back at the Ashford-Robinson house, there is nervous anticipation as Curtis tells the others in minutes he’ll find out if he’s going to be a father. Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) looks particularly nervous as does Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will try to keep things-and family members-on an even keel.

They should all be heading for GH shortly to wait with Trina and Marcus if he’s there. This is an answer whose reveal has been years in the making, so everyone is a little nervous.

GH Spoilers – TJ Ashford Has An Update

His face isn’t seen in the promo but it sounds like TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) who tells Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) he has an update on Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). Michael, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have all been waiting on an update, along with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Willow has been receiving bone marrow for several hours now, and it’s been a slow process. Even though her transplant may be completed, it may still take some time to see if she’s producing healthy blood cells.

General Hospital Spoilers – Worried Mothers

At the Collins house, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) worries about the fate of Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) as she asks someone if Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) knows where her son is. Technically, that question should be worded if Victor knew, since he is now dead-but his comments on his will reading did give one that impression. Laura may be asking Victor’s attorney the question, since no one else would have known.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) played it cool since she knows Nikolas is likely not returning. However, she doesn’t know he’s on life support being cared for by Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray)—did Victor know that too?

GH Spoilers – Josslyn Jacks Presses Carly Spencer

After walking in on Carly having told Michael the DOJ may be after her through the SEC trying to get to Sonny, they both tried to get her to save herself. Carly refused to flip on Sonny, telling Michael he knows better, but Joss continues to press her. She is loud and emotional at her mother as she wants to know why she’s sacrificing herself for him after everything he’s done? Joss and Michael will likely both try to pressure their mother to do something that she will never do-turn Sonny in to the DOJ.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Would-Be Mother’s Desperation

Elsewhere, Nina is on the phone with someone who she tells that she is going to do whatever it takes to be with the people that she loves. She may be talking to Ava, or possibly talking to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) who relayed her whistleblower tip to the SEC. Nina is not going to let anything or anyone stop her from forming, or forcing, as the case may be, a relationship with birth daughter Willow and her grandchildren.

Nina seems to be displaying a mixture of strength and desperation. She’s obviously got a plan.
