GH Spoilers Wednesday, May 17: Genius Moves, Duplicitous Daddies, Craving Independence

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, May 17 tease genius moves, duplicitous daddies and craving independence. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) calls Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) a genius, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) wants to fake the DNA test, and Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) craves independence.

General Hospital Spoilers – Genius Moves

Spencer calls Trina a genius when she’s likely giving him some ideas how to perhaps get out on his own. Spencer is in an awkward situation living with his grandmother when Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) lives there too. Spencer wants to get guardianship of his baby brother Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) but that’s not going to happen when they all live together and he’s dependent.

Trina and Spencer have been waiting for Esmé to mess up and her fakery exposed, still thinking she’s faking her amnesia and personality change. But so far that hasn’t happened, if it was going to it would have when Spencer and Ace were kidnapped and Trina was stowed away.

GH Spoilers – Portia Robinson Seeks Out Ava Jerome

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) seeks out Ava Jerome (Maura West) likely to talk about Trina and her quest to remove Spencer from her life. Portia happily says to someone that’s exactly what she wanted to hear, but is she hearing what Ava is saying or what she wants to hear? Ava is more than happy that there is no more Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is apparently not a problem. But she may or may not include Spencer in that group of Cassadines-after all, she and he made amends.

General Hospital Spoilers – Duplicitous Daddies

As Trina, Curtis and Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) get ready to go for the paternity test, Curtis is acting like a duplicitous Cassadine! Curtis wants to make sure that Trina is his daughter whether she is or not as he talks to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) about faking the DNA test. She tells Curtis she can make that DNA test go any way she wants it.

It sounds like Selina is going to use her nephew Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and his lab skills. But can Brad still sneak into the lab at GH without being noticed?

GH Spoilers – Craving Independence

At the Collins house, Esmé is craving independence as she holds Ace and seems to be arguing with Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Esmé is definitely upset as she asks when she gets to live her life on her own terms, and this could be about the situation with her and Spencer. Staying at the Collins house means Esmé has to go by the house rules, as does Spencer. Maybe she doesn’t want to share Ace with Spencer or anyone else!

General Hospital Spoilers – Mac Scorpio Has Questons

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) had to interrupt his lunch with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to rush off to the PCPD. Now that he’s there, he’s asking Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) questions, and she tells him if he wants answers, he’s going to have to ask his brother. Robert Scorpio, (Tristan Rogers) of course is the District Attorney and might have more information about the situation than Diane.

Perhaps he’s asking some questions about Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) since Felicia and Holly are friends. Or it could just be a regular old police case!

GH Spoilers – Holly Sutton Needs Someone’s Help

Robert, in the meantime does some digging after seeing Holly and Selina talking about something they worked on together in the Savoy. It could be they were talking about Selina giving Victor the spiked drink that Holly put a substance in that “took away his manhood”. Now Holly shows up and is asking for someone’s help-where could she be and what does she need? She’d like to stay in Port Charles permanently because she wants Robert back-is she looking for a love potion?
