In the stables on Spoon Island, Ava panics over an unexpected visit, as she asks someone how they got in there. That’s likely to be Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) who Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) managed to beat to Wyndemere. The last thing they need is a witness to Ava’s accidentally murdering Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), and Mason would take advantage.
Ava may find herself defending herself against Mason, or possibly Austin and her both. Austin’s trying to help her get rid of Nikolas’ dead weight but he will be in danger of becoming dead weight himself.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is talking to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and confesses she’s not as perfect as Laura thinks she is. She may come clean to Laura like she did to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as she contemplates turning herself into the police. Laura should know that Liz and Nikolas didn’t really sleep together and she wasn’t really pregnant with his baby, so no miscarriage. Elizabeth will think about her future and soon update Finn.
Meanwhile, Finn is over talking to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who he asks for hypothetical legal advice. It will have to be hypothetical since he doesn’t want to out Elizabeth, and Alexis hasn’t had her law license for years. Still, they are good friends and she’s the best person he could ask about the quandary.
Alexis might “hypothetically ask” about who Finn is asking the hypothetical advice for, but she won’t tell anyone else. Finn should have some good advice to relay to Liz when he talks to her again.
Alexis seems to find herself father-son tag teamed as Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) comes to talk to her to. She will give him a job offer to consider, but right now they seem to be talking about something else. She asks Greg if it’s possible he’s just over it, so maybe they are discussing other things at that point. Finn probably comes before his dad shows up, and they might run into each other at the door.
Nina talks to her aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) about her concerns, telling her she knows that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is trying to hide something. Nina recently saw Carly really cozy with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at the hospital, which they covered for quickly. But Nina could see there’s something going on between them, even if she was wrong about Willow and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) when she thought something similar.
Liesl’s interest will be piqued by Nina’s speculations. She will soon set to trying to help answer Nina’s questions.
Meanwhile, Willow is obviously full of fear as she pleads with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). She’s nearly in tears as she tells him that they need to see her now. “Her” could be their new yet unnamed baby girl (Owen and Nathan Ford) or she could be one of her doctors. More than likely it’s Baby Girl Tait-Corinthos since she appears to have just awakened and hasn’t seen her baby yet.
Meanwhile, Carly is talking to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and telling him this nightmare will finally be over. She has to be talking about Willow’s soon coming stem cell transplant, using the baby’s blood from the umbilical cord and placenta. Willow still has to undergo some chemotherapy but it needs to be very soon.
She hasn’t got a lot of time left for the transplant to be successful. Everyone’s hopes and prayers are for it to work.
