General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, August 9 tease making moves, making plans, and making mad!

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) makes moves, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) make plans, and something makes Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) mad!

General Hospital Spoilers – Making Moves

Trina makes a move to make amends with her mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Portia excitedly squeals it’s the best news she’s had in a long time.

Trina and Portia have been mostly at odds since Portia and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) ill-fated wedding that has yet to be consummated.

It sounds like Trina has finally gotten beyond the twenty-plus year lie about the possibility of Curtis being her birth father.

Is Trina moving back home-that could be a possibility although recently she’s been staying at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house. Portia would be thrilled to have her daughter back in their family home, however.

GH Spoilers – Jordan Ashford Offers Her Assistance

Elsewhere, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) now the Deputy Mayor of Port Charles, offers her assistance.

Jordan may in fact still be doing double duty as Port Charles Police Commissioner as well, since the only person she offered the job, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) turned her down.

She could be talking to old friend Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) who headed out to find a missing piece to the Pikeman-WSB puzzle.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was put on the hot seat by Anna about the WSB-Pikeman connection, and she needs one more missing piece.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Has A Puzzle As Well

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has a puzzle as well, reporting that so far they just have more questions than answers.

It appears that he may also be in Jordan’s office, so more than one person is still working on that WSB-Pikeman puzzle and who the Metro Court sniper was.

The sniper’s still out there, but at least now it will make more sense as to why the assault rifle found traced back to the WSB.

According to Valentin, if agents were dismissed from the WSB around the time that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) took over, they were referred to Pikeman for employment. They’ll continue to work on connecting on the pieces of the puzzle.

GH Spoilers – Reflecting On A Friendship

Things are getting emotional between longtime friends and former business partners Carly and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa Lo Cicero).

As they reflect on their friendship, Olivia starts to cry as she asks her how can she even offer that, after the way that she treated her?

The two have a lot of history so it’s hard to say whether Olivia is talking past things or more recent. Perhaps Olivia is regretting offering to plan Sonny and Nina’s wedding, knowing Nina and Carly are enemies.

General Hospital Spoilers – Making Plans

Meanwhile, at Sonny’s penthouse, he and Nina are sitting on the couch making wedding plans.

He may be talking about Olivia when he asks Nina when she went to her office to talk to her. They’re thinking about Valentine’s Day, which is still a good ways off but sometimes when you’re planning for a wedding it’s better that way.

Nina actually talked to Olivia in the restaurant and they were sitting together at a table. Olivia seemed to be offering an olive branch since she knows Sonny loves Nina.

GH Spoilers – Family Meeting

At the hospital, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) visits Curtis, and they discuss some things. Apparently Curtis has been thinking about leaving town since he’s been putting major distance between himself and Portia.

Marshall tells him he doesn’t think it’s a good time to leave town, but Curtis may argue. Curtis has been stubbornly pushing most of his family away, except for his father and his Aunt Stella Henry (Vernée Watson).

General Hospital Spoilers – Making Mad!

Alexis vents to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) at the Invader Office, and as they look at something on the computer, she loses it, and says it makes her so mad!

One has to wonder if Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) goofed everything up again like she did the first day she was at work. Or is it something to do with something else this time?

Greg was at GH and had to leave to do some research after arguing with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Perhaps this is the research he needed to do and the topic is upsetting Alexis.
