General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, August 30 tease desperate measures, devastating fears, and deceptive friends.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) takes desperate measures, while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) expresses devastating fears, and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is blindsided by deceptive friends in the courtroom.

General Hospital Spoilers- Quick Resolutions?

Apparently, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is the client who Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) is representing in Port Charles.

Tracy has claimed her stake in the creation of the Deceptor, strangely enough after sending her own granddaughter to act as a corporate spy.

She says this can all be resolved quickly and quietly as Lucy Coe, (Lynn Herring) Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) stand in shock.

They had thought Tracy had come to the courtroom to support them in the hearing, but apparently she’s got her own interests at heart-which may not even be her own.

Tracy had Brook Lynn steal files from Maxie’s computer and give them to her-is she throwing her own granddaughter under the bus?

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Gets Shocking Intel

Meanwhile, at Crimson Magazine, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) continues to solicit help from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to the tune of $50,000. She’s admitted she’s got a gambling problem and she’s not wanting the cash to pay Sasha’s bills.

She also has told Nina that the doctor won’t release Sasha until she pays him, not Ferncliff-she is upset as she asks Nina what else can she do to convince her? Will she have to tell her that the doctor is purposely shooting up Sasha with drugs to keep her there?

General Hospital Spoilers – Desperate Measures

Meanwhile, Cody is taking his own desperate measures to try and rescue Sasha from Ferncliff, Gladys, and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).

He’s shaved his beard, possibly so he won’t be recognized, and tells Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) this is the only way he can get in to see Sasha. He’s asked Sam to get him committed to Ferncliff as an “undercover patient.”

Years ago, the tactic worked for Mac Scorpio (John J. York) to get Cody’s birth mother Dominque Stanton (Shell Danielson) out of a sanitarium. Cody hopes it will work for him to rescue Sasha.

GH Spoilers – Devastating Fears

Meanwhile, in her room at Ferncliff, Sasha expresses her devastating fears to Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickard) as she grabs her arm and begs her not to let Montague near her! Sasha is onto the devious doc and he knows it, so she knows that her life is in danger-Montague is nobody’s friend.

Montague has been giving her addictive and sedating substances to fake a return to addiction, and is obviously trying to frame someone for sneaking them in. That list of suspects must be extremely short, considering Gladys is not allowing anyone from the outside to see her.

General Hospital Spoilers – Selina Wu Is Foiled

Elsewhere, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) will find she’s been foiled even though she tells someone “that’s really not her style.” Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) had warned her he’ll shut down her poker game and turned her down flat to sell the Savoy.

However, Selina had threatened to do harm to the club, and it is probably that threat she’s insinuating not to be her style.

Curtis told his father he was going to give up the club, but Marshall wouldn’t let him. Who’s Selina talking to, Marshall or Curtis?

GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Tries To Get Into Ferncliff

While Cody and Sam are trying to get Cody into Ferncliff to help Sasha, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is also trying to get in to see her. He tells someone the news is not good, possibly being halted at the desk from getting in.

There’s a good chance that he might spot Sasha having been “calmed” again by Montague and unconscious, possibly being wheeled by him. Dante should begin believing Cody’s desperate tales of Gladys and Montague hurting Sasha.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos’ Warning

Meanwhile, back at Sonny’s office in the back of Pozzulo’s, he and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) have been talking about who Sonny’s real enemy might be.

Brick suggests someone may be trying to get Sonny out of the way to get all that money. Sonny says that’s the end of that story, and he’ll tell Brick to get as far away from Port Charles as possible for his own protection.

It sounds like Sonny’s come to the conclusion he’s caught between Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) boss and Pikeman. That’s not a safe place for anyone to be.

GH Spoilers: Deceptive Friends

Lucy was blindsided when Tracy showed up at the hearing and now she wants to know what just happened? Is Tracy pointing the finger at Brook Lynn for theft of Tracy’s intellectual property or did she want the files to compare the products?

Lucy feels like she’s been the victim of deceptive friends who weren’t friends at all. It sounds like the hearing will end in a court battle to be continued.
