GH Spoilers Wednesday, August 2: Dealbreakers, Uncomfortable Questions, Offers Can’t Be Refused

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, August 2 tease dealbreakers, uncomfortable questions and offers that can’t be refused. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) says the deal’s off, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) gets uncomfortable questions and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) offer can’t be refused.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dealbreakers

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) shows up at Deception and expects her granddaughter Brook Lynn to get some more inside information. Brook Lynn tells her she’s not willing to risk that for her, so that’s a dealbreaker. Not only is she risking her job at Deception-which she really took back just because of Tracy-she risks breaking the law.

With her relationship with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) now flourishing, she can’t afford to risk that for her sneaky grandma either. Tracy’s just going to have to find another way to steal information on “The Deceptor”.

GH Spoilers – Meeting In Chechnya

Laura and Kevin Collins (Genie Francis, Jon Lindstrom) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) discuss their options, meeting in a hotel room in Chechnya. The new owner of the Cassadine property, Hamza (Dimitry Rozental) chased Laura and Valentin away, making a huge deal about his hatred of Cassadines. Laura said they were looking for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and Hamza already had a gun pointed at them, calming him down a bit when she said he was her son. It looks like possibly Valentin might be asking Kevin to go with Laura who insists going back to the mansion to look for evidence. He asks Kevin isn’t his wife’s safety more important than hatred?

General Hospital Spoilers – Uncomfortable Questions

At GH, Austin looks uncomfortable as Chase shows him a photo on his phone and asks him to answer a few questions about this guy. The guy in the photo is likely to be Gordon Stevens, (Maurice Hall) who Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) found dead outside the hospital. Sonny had interrupted an argument between Stevens and Austin, and Dex found his body not long afterwards by a dumpster.

Austin won’t say it but he knows now that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) didn’t pay Stevens to play town. He took him out and left his body in the alley.

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer’s Got Questions

At Kelly’s, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) leans over the counter and asks someone how they knew she was running Kelly’s? It’s likely to be Sonny who’s come to find out why, knowing she has a big fine to pay the SEC. Carly will likely tell him the story, that her mother Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) sold it to her for a dollar. That’s going to be her living so she doesn’t have to sell her house although she might exhaust her savings paying the fine.

General Hospital Spoilers – Offer Can’t Be Refused

Sonny answers and smiles, and says he came here to make her an offer she can’t refuse, but she has to refuse it if it has to do with the fine. That was stipulated in the agreement that kept her from going to prison. She cannot receive help from anyone of any type, she has to make good on the fine on her own.

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) specifically said she can’t take any help from Sonny. Then it was thought the SEC came after her as a back door to taking down Sonny.

GH Spoilers – Martin Gray Is Taken By Surprise

In his hospital room at GH after having a near death experience as a result of his heart attack, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) tells someone he needs him to give all his money away! That is likely to be Martin Grey, (Michael E. Knight) Cyrus’ younger brother. Martin certainly would be taken by surprise, for one, that his brother is in the hospital after a heart attack. He must have been put in charge of Cyrus’ money while he serves his prison sentence. Martin is likely to tell him to think about this decision for a bit-he can understand it’s a knee-jerk reaction to nearly dying.
