GH Spoilers Wednesday, April 26: Bitter Payback, Duplicitous Traps, Evil Triumph

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, April 26 tease bitter payback, duplicitous traps and evil triumph! Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) denies her bitter payback, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) confirms the rescue party’s walking into a duplicitous trap, and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) relishes his evil triumph.

General Hospital Spoilers – Bitter Payback

At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse, Nina denies her bitter payback as Sonny asks her why she was trying to see her lawyer. He came in and overheard her talking to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) as she confirmed he called the Securities and Exchange Commission. She wanted him to blow the whistle on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) insider trading but leave her name out of it.

She’ll either deny she was talking to her lawyer or she’ll lie and make up some other reason for contacting him. Perhaps she’ll talk about Crimson Magazine business and needing a form.

GH Spoilers – Sweet Suspicion

As Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is getting ready for her wedding at the Quartermaine gatehouse, Carly tries to hide her worry and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) smiles. Willow smiles and shakes her finger at them as if to say, “naughty naughty” and suspects the two of them are up to something. If they’re up to anything, they’re trying to keep positive and upbeat, hoping Drew brings Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) back in time for a bone marrow transplant.

General Hospital Spoilers – Harrison Chase And Dante Falconeri Offer Support

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) opens the door to Maxie Jones, (Kirsten Storms) who says they have a major problem. Detectives Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) offer support as they’ll explain what the problem is. It shouldn’t be police business since Dante is Michael’s older brother and Chase is an ex of Willow’s and also Michael’s friend.

They’ll both be at Michael’s and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding, as will Maxie. It may not be a bad idea to have a couple of Port Charles’ Finest at a wedding where Sonny Corinthos will be, just in case.

GH Spoilers – Friendly Affirmation

At the Jerome Art Gallery, Ava Jerome (Maura West) gives Nina some friendly affirmation encouraging her that she did the right thing. Which thing exactly Ava thinks that Nina did right is in question, since she won’t be so encouraging later on. However, Ava had egged Nina on about Carly’s having engaged in insider trading, although she didn’t bring Drew’s name into the conversation. Besides, Drew is out of the country trying to bring Nina’s Aunt Liesl and several others back, rescuing them from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy).

General Hospital Spoilers – Duplicitous Traps

Still in her hospital bed at General Hospital, Anna continues her conversation with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) after having forgiven Holly. Holly warned Robert and Anna about what she’d learned from her son, Ethan Lovett (James Ryan) about Victor reactivating Cassadine technology from 1981. Robert especially knows all too well what Ethan was talking about – it all fits why Victor would need that necklace with diamonds from the Ice Princess now.

He, along with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) were there on Cassadine Island when Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) tried to freeze the world with carbonic snow. Anna is very concerned knowing that Laura, Curtis Ashford, (Donnell Turner) Drew, and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are walking into a duplicitous trap!

GH Spoilers – Meanwhile, Back On The Haunted Star…

Meanwhile, back on the Haunted Star which has now docked at an island close to Greenland, Trina Robinson, (Tabyana Ali) Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Liesl stand on the deck. One can tell they’re cold, but not as cold as they’d be if Victor started the freezing machine-Trina tells Spencer and Liesl they can’t let him get his hands on it.

Worse yet, Victor has deadly pathogens stored in a bunker which he intends to unleash in addition to recreating the carbonic snow used to freeze the world by Mikkos. Perhaps that’s how he intends to spread the pathogen, by putting it in the artificially created carbonic snow.

General Hospital Spoilers – Evil Triumph

Meanwhile, Victor is getting ready to open the door to the bunker where he knows the pathogens and the freezing machine are stored. He smiles as he talks to someone, probably one of his henchman that everything he’s ever worked for lies behind that door. Victor relishes his evil triumph knowing everything he’s plotted for in his life is about to come true.

But it won’t if several interested parties have anything to do about it. He’ll soon have some unwelcome visitors to contend with!
