GH Spoilers: Victor Cassadine Goes Down, But A “Hero” Doesn’t Make It Home Alive

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that fans should expect the unexpected, come May Sweeps. As Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and her men head off to find the Haunted Star to bring Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) down and save the hostages, viewers can’t help but feel disaster is on the horizon. Will all the heroes and heroines make it back to Port Charles, alive?

General Hospital Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Goes Down, But Will Anyone Else Go With Him?

GH spoilers note that Victor will go down and his reign of terror will be stopped. Actor Charles Shaughnessy revealed his exit from the soap recently so that’s not “news” to any fans who love reading updates on the show.

With that said, Sweeps months are a time for secrets to be revealed, shocking bombshells to be dropped, and sadly, untimely deaths.

Characters tend to pass away or go missing during February, November, and May, so should viewers gear up for some sad days ahead?

GH Spoilers – The Possibilities For Tragedy Are Endless

It’s very likely hostages Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will come back safe and sound.

After all, Liesl must come back in the nick of time to save Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), right? Laura is also likely a “shoo-in” to return unharmed, too.

Still, with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) stopping the elevator and joining the team at the umpteenth hour, there’s a chance he may not come back. Perhaps he struggles with his father, and both fall down a cliff.

Then again, there’s been a lot of talk about Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) involvement in this rescue and “risking his life” for both Willow and Trina. It would be very Greek tragedy-ish if Trina and Liesl return, while Drew was left behind.

The same goes for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). He was on the outs with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) before all this happened and swooped in like her knight and shining armor. If he were to die saving Trina, Portia would further regret the lie she kept from him all these years.

General Hospital Spoilers – What About Baby Ace Cassadine?

Baby Ace Cassadine’s (Jay and Joey Clay) fate could also be up in the air. Victor will likely die (or be involved in something where people believe he’s dead) but on the rarity that he “escapes”, he could take the little Cassadine heir with him.

Then again, he could try to escape with Ace, only for his ship/plane/etc. to explode; something along those lines where everyone will “think” Ace is gone, only to pop up years later.
